We do one thing: seasonal Christmas light installation, start to finish. You never touch a ladder, a clip or a strand. You get the house, lit properly, for the whole season.

We design it
Every house gets its own plan. We walk the roofline, decide which edges to trace, where the lines should stop, and how the whole thing reads from the street.

We install it
Professional grade C9 bulbs, clipped to your gutters and shingles at an even spacing and cut to the exact length of every run. Straight lines, tight corners, no sag.

We maintain it
If a bulb goes dark or the weather knocks a run loose, text us. We come back and fix it, all season long, so the house looks the same on December 24 as it did on day one.

We take it down
After the holidays we come back in January, take everything down carefully and haul it away. Your roof goes back to the way it was.

Why The Christmas Standard
The name is the promise.
Kyle started The Christmas Standard in 2025 with a simple idea: Christmas lights should look like they were designed for the house, not thrown over it. This is our second season on Indianapolis rooftops.
Kyle quotes every job himself, plans every design, and stays in touch by text from the first message to the last bulb coming down in January. When a customer says the follow up exceeds standards, that is the standard we mean.

What’s included?
Professional lights custom-fit to your home, installation, in-season maintenance, January takedown and off-site storage. Your quote covers the complete seasonal service.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability insurance for our Christmas lighting installation work. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
How much does it cost?
Projects start at $799. Your price depends on your home and the lighting you choose. Request a free custom quote with no obligation.
Do you offer returning-client discounts?
Yes! Clients who rebook for consecutive seasons receive a loyalty discount. Your savings will be shown in your renewal quote. If you skip a season, standard pricing applies when you return, and you become eligible again when you rebook for the following season.
How do I reserve my installation?
Approve your quote and pay the 50% deposit. We’ll then coordinate your installation window. The remaining balance is due when installation is complete.
Can I request an installation date?
We coordinate installations by area and confirm your window with you, subject to availability and weather. You don't have to turn your lights on until you're ready!
What if a bulb goes out?
Text us—we handle lighting issues as part of your seasonal service. We aim to complete maintenance within 48 hours, weather permitting.
When do you take the lights down?
We schedule takedown in January, weather permitting, and store the lights off-site afterward.
Can you install lights I already own?
We use our own professional lighting so we can custom-fit the display and maintain it throughout the season.
